The largest sources of Russian CO2 imports are Finland, China and Ukraine. in 2013, Russia exported 164.4 tons of CO2. in the first half of 2014, Russia exported 71.1 tons of CO2. Most of the Russian CO2 is exported to Abkhazia, Ukraine and Turkmenistan.
Seasonality of production and demand, as well as the obsolescence of production facilities have a significant impact on the development of the Russian CO2 market.
